The Area of the Association and the History of the Association
Hartshill and Harpfields Residents' Association is active in two wards of the City of Stoke-on-Trent - Hartshill and Basford, which is represented by Councillor Shaun Pender and Penkhull and Stoke, which is represented by Councillor Randolph Conteh. A small part of the Association's area forms part of the Town ward of Newcastle-under-Lyme.
The area is bounded by Shelton New Road in the North, The Newcastle boundary in the West (except that we include all of The Avenue), Hartshill Road/North Street (as far as Shelton Old Road) Princes Road/Quarry Avenue (as far as West Avenue) in the East and Hilton Road and Lodge Road (as far as St Peter's Academy) in the South. The neighbouring Resident's Associations are Basford and Cliff Vale to the North and Penkhull to the East.
